Linda dedicated over 25 years to the State of Wisconsin, where her commitment to public service and excellence set a standard for her colleagues.
An ardent animal lover, Linda's passion for dogs was unmatched. She found great joy in the company of her canine companions, often seen with a loyal dog or two, by her side. Her love for animals was a reflection of her overall approach to life-full of unconditional love and care.
Linda's green thumb brought beauty to the world through her gardening. Her vegetable and flower gardens were a source of pride and joy. A wonderful cook, Linda relished the opportunity to feed others, believing that every meal was a chance to nurture and express her love. Her kitchen was a place of gathering, where stories were shared, and memories were made over the comforting embrace of her home-cooked meals.
Linda is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Robert “Roy” Wilson, with whom she shared a life full of laughter, companionship, and mutual affection. Together, they created a home that was a sanctuary of warmth and generosity, not only to each other but to all who crossed their threshold. Linda's spirit will forever be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of those she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eric and Valborg (Rundquist) Carlson, and her brother, Glenn Carlson. Linda's family was a cornerstone of her life, and the values instilled in her by her parents and brother were evident in the way she lived her life every day.
