We feel so fortunate that we had a delightful and fun conversation with Lettie and Dina at Oak Park when we happened by Lettie’s room while visiting our Mother. Such a cool lady (Lettie not Dina 😉😂), we are so sorry for your loss and are thinking of the whole Washburn family at this difficult time! Tom and Kitty Klement

Dear Family of Lettie,
We have had the privilege of knowing Lettie at St. Luke's and through our daughter Julia and Seton playing basketball for McFarland Schools. Randi especially enjoyed her time with Lettie as one of the Flower Guild members at St. Luke's. Lettie was always a sweet, loving, and gracious lady with English style and wit. More people like Lettie are much needed in our world, and she will surely be missed. Love and Blessings, Randi and Dave Thorson

All of my interactions with Lettie over the years were warm and friendly. I didn't know her well, but as a teacher of several of her grand-children, and a community friend of her family, she never failed to greet me as if we knew each other well. Her gentle and sincere smile embraced all who met her. I'm grateful that we met.

Mrs. Washburn had patience, kindness, charm, and grace. I grew up in a special time, in a special place, surrounded by special people; none better than the Washburn family. The Washburn daughters are an illustration of Letti’s qualities. God bless the Washburn family.

Lettie Washburn was a wonderful representation of Christianity. Thank you for your influence on our neighborhood.
