MADISON - Joshua Teter, age 37, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024. He was born on Sept. 22, 1986, in Valley Stream, N.Y., the son of Gene and Jean (Ewers) Teter.
Josh graduated from Columbus North High School, Indiana, in 2004. While Josh held several mainstream jobs in the service industry, he was always happiest working with his hands doing any type of home repair or handyman work.
Josh was a man of many talents. He was a naturally kind, generous, and empathetic person who could easily make connections with people from all walks of life. He had a quick wit and shared his sense of humor with everyone around him. As a tinkerer, Josh could figure out a way to fix anything from cars to home repair projects. Josh’s work was always meticulous and done with much care. Josh had a passion for learning - he spent his downtime reading and watching videos to learn about a variety of topics, and he loved to share this knowledge with his family and friends. His happiest moments were time spent with family, especially his young niece and nephew.
Joshua is survived by his parents; sister, Sarah (Christopher Pauly) Teter; three half-sisters, Donna (Tom) Smith, Terri Whitney and Catherine (Rich) Michelitsch; three nephews, Aidan Pauly, Brent Whitney, and Jason Whitney; and niece, Nadia Pauly.
A private burial will be held at Natural Path Sanctuary in Verona, Wis.
