Mark was always so kind to me. I would be away from the farm for a while and return to help out on the farm only to be greeted by his smile and words, "Oh, I'm glad you're back. We missed you."
I also appreciated his humor as we would tease each other about our food choices; he'd call my food "hippie food" which I knew was his way of connecting with me.
I wish great love and peace for the Ricter family during this time. You are so very special and loved.

Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of Mark. We have special memories of Mark when we lived in the Madison area. His quiet , kind way. We always enjoyed meeting with him in the Union meeting. We think of Mark's care for Jim. We always looked forward to seeing both of them at convention. He was very proud of his dear family, please know that our thoughts are with you all at your time of loss. John and Sally Smith
