Obituary

Edgerton - William Harvey “Bill” Oaks, age 64, of Edgerton, passed away on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at his side. He was born on March 19, 1959, in Janesville, Wis., the son of Robert Oaks and Yvonne (Van Alstine) Oaks.

Bill was a truck driver; he drove truck for over 24 years, the last 13 years for Blain’s Farm and Fleet, before he retired. He loved his dogs and had a passion for playing chess. He always looked forward to spending time with his family, as he loved them very much, more than they will ever know.

William is survived by his loving wife, Margo Oaks; daughters, Trisha (Richard) Sykes of Beloit and Jaime Jones of Beloit; Son, Kevin (Alicia) Foster of Janesville; grandchildren, Jeramiah and Jason Oaks, Jonah Ludtke, Kyle Jones, Sheldin, Rikie and Hailey Sykes, and Samantha, Dominick, Austin and Brianna Foster; great-grandchildren, Allen White, Brookelynn Jones, Jacob Ray Nolan, and Rosie Marie Sherman; sisters, Cathie (Joel) Astin, Edgerton, Patricia (Dave) Leitz, Hayward, Diane (Jeff) Robinson, Verona, Sharon (Michael) Golden, Indiana, and Betty (Steve) Bullington, Colorado; and brothers, Dan (Vicki), Edgerton, and Dewayne (Barb), Florida.
