Obituary

LODI - Beatrice J. Pierquet, age 86, of Lodi Wis., passed away on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, at UW Hospital-Madison.


She was born on Dec. 12, 1937, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of John and Beatrice (Miskell) Carpenter.


Beatrice married Donald Pierquet on Sept. 19, 1964. Donald preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 2012.


She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lodi.


Beatrice enjoyed volunteering, socializing with her friends, and meeting new people.  She treated everyone with kindness and made people feel they were important.  Activities in her spare time included gardening, reading, and watching the Packers. She loved to spend time with her family. After living her entire life in Chicago, Don and Bea moved to Wisconsin to be closer to both sons and grandchildren. In addition, Beatrice was very active in St. Patrick's Church and Reach Out Lodi.  


Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, John (Jennifer) and Scott (Amy); and four grandchildren, Brianna, Skylar, Kayla, and Dakota.


In addition to her husband Donald, she was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Geraldine (Art) Kral and Celine (Jim) Gentile.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at BLESSED TRINITY CATHOLIC PARISH AT ST. PATRICK'S CHURCH, 521 Fair St., Lodi, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, with Father Joseph Baker presiding. Private burial will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Saturday.
 

Donations for Masses in memory of Beatrice may be made to Blessed Trinity Parish.

Bea Carpenter, Marijane Cesario and I (Marion Benson at the time, graduated from Calumet High School and we all three, spent many hours in a lunch room off campus or the school. We all married at different times and after graduating we lost touch. Bea did not attend our 50th graduation anniversary of but Marijane and I did. I tried to contact Bea on many occasions to no avail. She was a kind, beautiful woman, inside and out. Sincere condolences. Marion Snow

To the family of my good friend & neighbor Bea. I met Bea many years ago & instantly liked her warm personality. We shared the love of reading & enjoyed lunches together. We also participated in the activities at Reach Out when possible. I'm going to miss you dear lady. Rest in peace.
