Patrick Jude Doherty

Mr. Pat was a Saint. He was my first and most influential boss. At 14 years old he taught me how to drive his Chevy, to use my mirrors and not look over my shoulder like an “amateur.” Mr. Pat instilled in everyone that knew him, especially our summer crew, the importance of doing the right thing even when no one was watching. Leading by example, he dedicated himself to extra work, day in and day out, year after year, all without the expectation of being thanked or even acknowledged for it. He was a truly selfless man and role model to all that had the pleasure of knowing him. I’m grateful for the time that I was lucky enough to spend with him.

Pat will be dearly missed. Requiescat in Pace. Brother, you Inspired me and all of us at HN, to be better Men.

I always looked up to Pat. He was a wonderful man and mentor. Thank you, Pat.

Pat,or Sensei,as I called him over the years,was my boss and mentor at SMG. In all my years I've never known a person with a heart like his. His dedication and belief in the common good made me strive to better than who I am. The world lost a great person, and those he met,worked with and more along the way will never forget him.
