Levi John Pospichal

DEERFIELD -While lovingly embraced by his parents Levi John Pospichal, age 30, took his last, but greatest journey on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024.

Levi was born at home in Cottage Grove, Wis., on Sept. 18, 1993, to Kevin and Judy Pospichal. In 2012 he graduated from Deerfield High School and went on to study at MATC Technical College. Shortly after, Levi started his career at Aramark, where he was a beloved and resolute colleague in his work community for 10 years.

He enjoyed attending Heartland Church in Sun prairie with close friends. His spiritual journey throughout his life and in his final months brought him great comfort and peace.

Levi had a strong passion for the outdoors, health and fitness. He cherished time spent with his Dad, especially recreational shooting and playing bags.

Levi loved card games, above all poker. He adored his yearly cabin trips with friends up north, cooking for his poker buddies and playing frisbee golf. Levi had such an excitement for music festivals, comedy shows and taking trips with his friends. In July 2023 he traveled to the mountains of Estes Park, Colo., where he proudly had the honor to be the Best Man in his best bud’s wedding, Beau and Chelsey Crawley.

Levi will be especially remembered for the thrills he shared posting videos on snap chat after scaring the living daylights out of family and friends.

To merely say that Levi cared deeply for his friends and family would be an understatement, as he proved this day in and day out by greeting you with the biggest, warmest hug and by always hanging up the phone with, “I love you.” Levi lit up any room he walked into, usually with his infectious laugh, inappropriate jokes, and overall positivity and joy for life. Levi was known for being kind to anyone he encountered, exemplified by always lending a hand to a friend in need.

Levi is survived by his parents, Kevin and Judy Pospichal; sister, Julienne Pospichal; nieces and nephew, Parker Venden, Kinsley Venden and Braydin Venden; and grandma, Judie Pospichal; along with many aunts, uncles and cousin. He was greeted in heaven by his dogs, Bentley, Molly, Mia and Hope; and his grandparents, Pete Pospichal, and Leo and Joann Keller.

We would like to thank Agrace HospiceCare for their loving care in Levis’ final days, and deeply appreciate everyone’s support. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to “Levis Memorial Fund” at the bank of Deerfield, and by sharing cherished memories of Levi on the “Love for Levi” Facebook page.

A celebration of life will be held at Badger Farms, 1682 County Road BB, Deerfield, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
