Randy Leo Kissane

COTTAGE GROVE - Randy Leo Kissane, age 76 of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 22, 2024. He was born on March 15, 1948, in Madison, WI, the son of Leo and Loretta (Shields) Kissane. He married his beloved wife of 56 years, Sharon Dyer, on February 24th, 1968, in Madison, WI.

Randy worked as a laborer for Local 464 where he was a proud union member for over 50 years and was also a life member of the National Rifle Association. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and all-around outdoorsman. Randy enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers and watching hunting shows and NASCAR, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Randy is survived by wife, Sharon; two daughters, Kristina (John) Koenig and Tammy Andruss; step-son, Ken Dyer; eight grandchildren, Jacob (Kayla) Kissane, Brittnay (Chris Wood) Kissane, Nickoel (Zach) Hillard, Kaitlin (Thomas Gecht) Houle, Miranda (Matt) Roper, Dakota (Taryn Stewart) Koenig, Breannna Houle, and Mason Andruss; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sherry Nielsen (Bryan) and Sue Breiby (Dave); half-sister, Sherry Kissane; and son-in-law, John Andruss. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by mother, Loretta M. Peterson (Pete); father, Leo Paul Kissane; and brother, Bob Kissane

Per Randy's request services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Agrace HospiceCare would be appreciated by the family. Randy's family would like to extend a special thank you to Claire for all the kind and compassionate care she gave him.
