Obituary

LODI - Dale Joseph Ziegler, age 37 of Lodi, passed away on January 2, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones after a six-month battle with cancer. Dale was an amazing husband, dad, son, brother, and friend.

Dale enjoyed spending time with his wife of 16 years, Jamie and their daughter’s Ava, Zoe and Isla. Dale was a lifelong carpenter and loved every second of it. When he was not working, he loved to spend time in the Lodi Marsh, whether it was hiking or hunting or in his barn.

Dale was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ruth Ziegler; aunt, Yvonne Ziegler, and cousin, Jason Ziegler. He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Mary Ann and LaVern Millard; paternal grandfather, Joe Ziegler; his parents, Dawn and Randy Ziegler; his brother’s, Roger (Kacy) and Peter Ziegler; and his wife and daughters. Dale also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Following the devastating news and only days to say his “goodbye” and reminisce, he was able to see most family and friends. Dale will be missed by so many for his chivalrous and kind heart, but also for his “life of the party” attitude and being a total badass.

A celebration of life will be held at Acorn Acres, 7476 Hwy. 113, Lodi, on January 13, 2024, from 2 pm to 6 pm.
