My name is Don Tiedeman. I knew Buddy from East high school. When I returned from Marine Corp four years I started college.I met Buddy at student clothing store on State street, I purchased a leather jacket. He told me he had just returned from ANG flight school. I went to Truax field and was accepted with 2 years of college. I told my girl friend I would be gone for 18 months. She said lets get married, My brother was ANG fire chief said if ANG found I was married they would fine me $10K and be booted out. I told ANG I was married. They were ANGRY. SORRY for your loss. God Bless your family.

Dave, so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. He was a wonderful little league coach! I’ll always remember the baseball field trip he took us on to Volk field. I think we were all ready to enlist if we weren’t only 12 years old! Great memories of a great man. Jon Kapitz
