Jewel was the most gorgeous woman there was. She always made sure the people around her were well taken care of. Often people will tell me she was one of the prettiest girls in high school. Her kind and generous heart and personality will be greatly missed. She was the best Aunt!

Jewel was an amazing women, I loved her and we spent lots of time sharing and laughing over our similarities, we were born on the same day and shared spiritual moments. We worked together also, she was a warm and kind nurse, who listened to her patients needs . I am so sad, and mourn her death, I so wanted to see her, but I respected her privacy. My best friend for numerous years. I miss you and rock in heaven, always your friend. To your family, Bob, peace and love always. Kathy

My beloved Aunt Jewel was a jewel of a women. No matter who knew her, from any stage of life, said the same things, she was so beautiful, she was so kind and she was so generous. My aunt was truly beautiful inside and out, always so encouraging and caring. She made the ordinary things you did seem extraordinary! Anything she touched became magical and you felt special being in her presence. She loved her people so deeply and held everyone together. I am grateful she was my aunt, I hope everyone could have an Aunt Jewel in their lives.

I knew Jewel from Phillips High School. Her beauty was the first thing you witnessed when you met her, but then you realized the beauty that existed in her heart. She was so kind and sweet. She always had a smile for everyone. She was a year younger than me and I truly enjoyed classes that we shared together. I always will remember with a smile on my heart — that smile that glowed within her! My deepest sympathy to all her family.

I didn’t really know Jewel, but I remember chatting with her once after school. She loved music, and told me how good the new Kansas album (Leftoverture) was. It may have been the only time she and I had a conversation, but that experience dramatically influenced my choice in music over the rest of my life!. 🥰 Honestly, when I pull out that album, I always think of her for a moment, always have.
