Obituary
MADISON - Clarice Marylyn Knauer, age 81, of Negaunee where she spent the last 18 years, and the last year and a half until she passed away on Monday, Dec. 18, 2023, at Kettle Park Senior Living in Stoughton. She was born on Sept. 14, 1942, to Victor and Clarice (Miller) Saladonis in Clevland, Ohio. Clarice married Douglas Knauer.
Clarice worked as a dental hygienist and manager at JoAnn Fabrics.
Clarice loved her Lithuanian heritage. She liked drinking a refreshing Coke, eating delicious chocolates, playing cards and the companionship of her dogs. She also enjoyed watching dog sled races, sleeping, sewing, warm weather, traveling, McDonald’s hamburgers and challenging puzzles. Above all, Clarice loved spending time with her grandkids.
Clarice is survived by her three sons, Anthony (Andrea), Andrew and Keith (Tanya) Knauer; sisters, Leslie and Vicky; brothers, Jeff and Ray; and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Clarice and husband, Douglas.
