Kimberly Ann Krall
September 05, 1958 - December 18, 2023
Obituary
MADISON - Kimberly’s first chapter started on Sept. 5, 1958, and concluded on Monday, Dec. 18, 2023. Every story needs a main character. For our family, that was Kim. To say she was loved would be an understatement. Unfortunately, cancer decided to change our story’s ending. But what will never change is what was instilled in each person she met.
Kim looked forward to the excitement of summer but appreciated the calm of winter. She spent every warm sunny day by her pool and every Christmas singing along to CDs of her years with Mr. Witte’s La Follette acapella choir while decorating. She really enjoyed the beauty of retirement after working with Kraft/Oscar Mayer for 30 years.
You could count on her to have everything ready for our annual family cabin trip to St. Germain and to be the first on the boat to watch the sunrise. You could count on her to be at Oktoberfest every year in La Crosse at her college alma mater as a 1980 graduate after two years at her beloved Richland Center. You could count on her to find peace in chaos and a thoughtful message just when you needed it. You could count on her.
To our main character, thanks for making the best memories for us. Stay bright, beautiful, we’ll be looking for you often. Miss you so much.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joan and Ken Davidson; her mother and father-in-law, Georgiana and Leo Krall; and her grandson, Dex Hansen. She is survived by her perfect match of 42 years, her husband, Lyle; her children, Jackie (Scott) Hansen, Alex Krall, Kelsey (Nick) Ferguson and Jordan Krall; and her grandchildren, Oliver and Morgan Ferguson; as well as siblings, Kyle (Connie) Davidson, Kent (Sue) Davidson and Kerri (Paul) Pearson; many nieces and nephews; and her shadow, her golden retriever, Sky.
A celebration of life will take place at the EAST SIDE CLUB, 3735 Monona Drive, Madison, on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, with visitation from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and a reception from 7 p.m. until 12 midnight.
