Obituary
LODI - Peter M. Kavalauskas, age 85, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Dove Healthcare-Lodi.
He was born on August 8, 1939, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Peter and Albina (Petrauskas) Kavalauskas.
Peter graduated in 1957 from St. Rita's High School in Chicago, IL. On May 16, 1964, he married Doris Griffin in Chicago.
Peter proudly served our country in the U. S. Army from 1963 to 1965.
He was employed with Dane Manufacturing until retiring in 2005.
Peter was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and enjoyed being outside caring for his yard or fishing.
In addition to Doris, his wife of nearly 60 years, survivors include his children, Carolyn Kiefer and Michael Kavalauskas; his sister, Kathy Kavalauskas; and other relatives and friends.
A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Pastorate at St. Patrick Church. Burial will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church - Lodi.
