Obituary
MADISON - Jeffrey Remus, age 57, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, at UW Hospital. He was born on Feb. 2, 1966, in Galesburg, Ill., the son of Lee and Lucy (Bruns) Remus.
Jeffrey graduated from Madison East High School in 1984. He loved his significant other, Lynn Shere, for over 25 years and their beloved dog, Maya. He worked as a manager at Shopko for many years. He enjoyed fishing with his family in Canada. Jeffrey was a member of the Southern Wisconsin Parrot Head Club and he loved a good night out at the casino with his sister, Sue.
Jeffrey is survived by his dad, Lee (Sherri); lifelong partner, Lynn Shere; his sisters, Susan, Stacy (Scott) Sankey and Sheryl (Scot) Meyer; brother, Mark (Chris); nieces and nephews, Coleman (Tera) Osborne, Chrysta Osborne, Roland (Paulina) Osborne, Catelyn (Brent) Anderson and Jane Remus; aunt, Mary Peterson; Lynn's parents, Robert and Judy(Judith) Bordson; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by mother, Lucy; and sister, Jane Osborne.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at SPARTAN BOWL, 4711 Farwell St., McFarland, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023.
