Obituary

COTTAGE GROVE - Lee F. Kaltenberg, age 67, of Cottage Grove, passed away at the William S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital on Wednesday, Oct. 25th, 2023. She was born on Sept. 16, 1956, in Georgia, to Myrle and Rosalee Hoover. Lee can be fondly remembered by the complete joy of the Christmas season she always had and for her love of grilling out in the summer with family. Lee had a natural gift to caregiving which could been seen throughout her years of taking care of others loved ones. Lee was loved by her children, grandchildren, and pets very much and will be missed terribly.

Lee is survived by her children, Lynsey (Brandon) Jiskra, Londa (Dazmond) Reed, Leesha Lustgraaf and Desirae Kaltenberg; and loving granddaughters, Sterling Jiskra and Makayla Lustgraaf. She was preceded in death by her son, Landon Lustgraaf; and parents, Myrle and Rosalee Hoover.

A memorial gathering will be held at Gunderson Stoughton Funeral and Cremation Care, 1358 Highway 51 at Jackson St., Stoughton, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023.

A special thank you goes out to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Veterans Memorial Hospital for the care they gave our mother. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

“If Roses Grow in Heaven” (by Dolores M. Garcia)

If roses grow in heaven,

Lord please pick a bunch for me.

Place them in my Mother's arms

and tell her they're from me.

Tell her I love her and miss her,

And when she turns to smile,

place a kiss upon her cheek

and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,

I do it every day,

But there's an ache within my heart

that will never go away.

Lee was a very loving person. I was Lee's Pastor when she gave her heart to the Lord and was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with God's Holy Spirit along with her husband Ron and her beloved son Landon. She was one of God's special people who was everyone's special care giver. Pastor Richard Thomas United Pentecostal Church of Stoughton WI
