Obituary

MOUNT HOREB - Rosemary Beyer, age 76, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, at home after a long fight with cancer. Rose was born in Madison, Wis., on Sept. 7, 1947, to Robert O. and Charlotte B. Myers.


Rosemary and Ken Beyer were married on Nov. 23, 2002, and lived their married life in Mount Horeb, Wis. Rose worked as a childcare provider out of her home and fostered many children in her home. She worked at Schuberts as a baker/cook for many years and later as a co-partner with Ken at the Hometown Restaurant in Verona.


Rosemary is survived by her husband, Ken; son, Damon Fredrickson; grandchildren, Alexis, Taylor and Ava Fredrickson and Alysha Snell; siblings, Paul (Karen) Myers, Ginger (John) Mieden, Lois (George) Hill, Michael Myers and Fred (Karen) Myers; along with other relatives and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Charlotte; son, Shane Fredrickson; brother, Mark Myers; and brother-in-law, John Mieden.


A funeral service will be held at GOOD NEWS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 9975 Pepper Drive, Mount Horeb (west end of town) at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023. A visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Private burial will take place at a later date.

Sorry for loss. Remember the Meyer girl’s beautiful voices. They sang without effort. Rosie and I each had siblings of the same family. We’d get together so the kids could all be together at the same time. Would also stop in and have coffee sometimes, always a cuppa ready. Condolences to the family.
