Obituary
OREGON - Cheryl Ann Schulz, age 67, of Oregon, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023, at her home. She was born on April 11, 1956, in Stoughton, Wis., the daughter of DeLyle and Edith (Alme) Schulz.
Cheryl graduated from Oregon High School in 1974. She worked as a data entry clerk for the state of Wisconsin. In her free time, she liked painting with watercolors, and she loved to bake. Cheryl was known for her great coleslaw and was the only one who could get the recipe right. She also liked to read and crochet, and she loved listening to the oldies - she knew all the words to every song! Although online shopping was her favorite “hobby,” she also enjoyed spending time with her late significant other, Jim. Every year they would take a trip to the apple orchard.
Cheryl is survived by her mother, Edith Schulz; sisters, Luanne Jackson and Patty Atkinson; brothers, Norman (Diane) Schulz, Jim (Maria) Schulz and John (Darsy) Schulz; many nieces and nephews; dear friend, Jamie Bartels; and her loving canine companions, Joey and Oreo, who she loved taking for walks. She was preceded in death by her father, DeLyle Schulz; brother, Tom Schulz; nephew, Josh Schulz; two brothers-in-law, Dale Jackson and Stewart Atkinson; and her significant other, Jim Seller.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Cheryl and her brother, Tom, who recently passed away in Alaska.
