Butch was a hard working family man who always put a smile on your face whenever you were around him, the South Side Mulligan Crew will surely miss him

My condolences to all those who were fortunate to cross paths with this rock of a man. Butch – you were an absolute immovable object on your gravel basketball court. Thank you for all those battles. Rest in peace Mountain, for you have made an impact well beyond your great shadow. To all who should happen to stumble upon these words: Play with your children (and their friends). Defeat them. Repeat. Repeat. You will impact lives and make the world a better place because of your effort.

I played many a softball game both with Butch and against him. I was always glad when we would go to a tournament and he was on our team. I ALWAYS was very careful in where I would place my itches to him, but it never failed POP, another home run or extra base hit for him. Butch will be missed.
