Obituary
Sauk City/Lodi - Judith Ann Miller, age 83, peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Maplewood Health Care Center.
Judith was born on January 22, 1943, in Portage, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Frank Kuhn and Lorainne (Jenkins) Cuff. She grew up in the area, learning the value of hard work, laughter, and togetherness from her family and community. Those who knew Judy remember her practical hands, steady kindness, and an eye for beauty that found its way into quilts, sewn garments, and hand-painted ceramics.
On September 19, 1961, she married Vincent Miller in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, beginning a partnership that would span 64 loving years. Judy spent some time as a Mary Kay consultant and worked for Madison Kipp Corp. for many years until retiring. She carried the same care and dedication from her workplace into her home and friendships.
Judy's life was full of simple joys and lively pursuits. She loved quilting and sewing, spending hours piecing together patterns and sharing the finished quilts with family. Her ceramics were made with the same quiet attention she brought to everything she did. She enjoyed snowmobiling and dancing, and she treasured time with her sister Sue. Whether around a dinner table or at a card table, Judy's laughter and steady presence made celebrations warmer and ordinary days brighter.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent Miller; three sons, Todd, Frank, and Thomas "Chip" Miller; her daughter, Kim Miller; sisters Sue Cone, Sharon (Dave) Cross, Cheryl Moore, and Barb Nellen; her brother, Dave Cuff; sisters-in-law Edith Kuhn and Gail Cuff; and three beloved grandchildren, Adam, Logan, and Amanda (Cody Asbjornson) Miller, as well as other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Bud and Roger Kuhn and Larry Cuff; her sister, Gwenda “Linda” Fohr and special nephews, Kevin Miller and Homer Boling.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MAXIMILIAN KOLBE PARISH AT ST. PATRICK CHURCH-LODI, 521 Fair St, Lodi, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice or to St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish.
Judy leaves behind a quiet legacy of creativity, joy, and steadfast love; those who sat by her card table or wrapped themselves in one of her quilts will remember the warmth she gave freely to family and friends.
