Mark was a valued colleague, teammate and friend. He will be greatly missed in our work unit. We are all thinking of you during this difficult time.

So many wonderful memories.... back when Laura and I were teens, sitting in the living room with Laura, Ted, Mark, and Scott. We were listening to The Talking Heads and deeply discussing "facts." Hearing crazy folk style music coming out of the bathroom for hours, and the wafts of cigarette smoke from under the door as Mark hung out in the bathtub. Mark bringing home his foreign student friends from Madison and them making falafal for all of us... Mark being kind enough to read and review the silly works of fiction Laura and I would dream up... Talking to him online more recently about poetry and tai chi.... Moments that will always be with me and helped shape who I am. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. He will be missed on this Earth and never forgotten. Wishing you all peace.
