John was a special friend to Tim and me for over 40’years. John and Tim enjoyed doing crossword puzzles together to kill time while waiting for the wives. Hockey games and several away football games and other travels too numerous to mention here. Lots of laughs. I will always take good care of the special Lilies he created for us, Tall Tiger and Recipe for Tim. Peace be with you my friend and hook up with Tim for a good chat.

These are the things I remember........ Uncle John and Aunt Donna, they were coming from Texas to the farm, you would think for Christmas, but for some reason thinking Thanksgiving? Coming up the lane, that long lane, such a big deal....I didn't know who they were? Coke bottles, see Aunt and Uncle John at Grandpa and Grandma Raymonds, Uncle John stayed up so late, croquet, he had a motorcycle, that was cool, Ball Diamond behind apartments (and Brother Dave and I were in the big city), (Grandpa Raymond loved to play ball), going to the "20" to mark trees , basketball in driveway, Uncle John was so tall. Uncle John and Aunt Donna were so smart. Uncle John at a University, even took Dave and I there, a lot of stuff there. Aunt Donna, I don't know ended up President? Not sure how to end, so many memories. Randy

John and I shared an interest in researching our family genealogy back in the late 90’s. We had a lot of fun digging up new info and I will always cherish those memories.

Mr. Sheehan was a leader of my Boy Scouts troop and organized several memorable trips camping in WI, summer camp, road trip out West, Florida Keys, "urban scouting" in Chicago (lol), etc. Was a fun time in life to look back on and the troop members and parents were always very appreciative of all the effort he put into organizing great experiences for us. And I'm pretty sure I wasn't organized enough at that age to earn Eagle Scout without him guiding me through every step, and am glad he pushed me to earn that lifelong status. Thanks for all the memories Mr. Sheehan, and rest in peace.
