Obituary
MIDDLETON - Margaret Ann “Marge” Langrehr, age 91 of Waunakee, Wis., passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, ten days before her 92nd birthday. She was born on Sept. 30, 1931, to Edward and Erna (Becker) Stello and grew up in Bangor, Wis., where she graduated high school in 1949. Marge married her first husband, Vernon F. Morgan Jr., on March 29, 1951.
She is survived by their two children, daughter, Sharon Morgan of Middleton, Wis., and son, Bruce (Kristine) Morgan of Lodi, Wis. She was blessed with three grandsons, Lucas, Jakob and Jason Morgan, and a granddaughter, Justine Morgan. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Marge and Vernon lived in Middleton, Wis., and owned Morgan’s Midvale IGA, in Madison, Wis. Prior to that she worked on her family farm and at the local telephone company.
Marge married her second husband, Hilbert F. “Fred” Langrehr on July 17,1998, and they lived in Waunakee, Wis. After retirement, Fred and Marge ran their own cleaning service.
She enjoyed baking, traveling, walking outdoors, doing puzzles, social gatherings, getting her hair and nails done, attending the local Lutheran church, Bible study, and spending time with her family and friends.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Vernon F. Morgan Jr.; her second husband, Hilbert F. “Fred” Langrehr; her brother, Herbert (Janette) Stello; and sister, Leona (Willy) Schmitt.
A Celebration of Life will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, with the Rev. Sandra Schieble presiding. A private burial will be held at a later date at Union Cemetery of Vienna Township. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of the service on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023.
