So very sorry to hear of the loss of your mom, Ron. My sympathy to you and your family!

I remember Doc and Mrs. D running the Mobil station just a block from our house down the street. Buying a candy bar there was always a treat! Mrs. D. was also one of the reasons I became a librarian. I enjoyed being a library aide for her and Mrs. Oresnik (Kohrt) and sharing a love for books. May she rest in peace. Amy Flannery-Lawrynk

I was saddened to learn of Tess's passing. Tess was in a class by herself, especially in school. She knew every child & called them by name, as she did in the community.
