The photo of her is beautiful. Our condolences to you, Sue, and your family. Your mother was such a talented person. What a wonderful life she lived. What a beautiful family she has. Bless you all.

Over fifty years ago, my dear friend Jill Ramsfield and I discovered Eleanor Pearson at the Rigadoon Room at the Edgewater Hotel. Her welcoming smile, and her talent as a pianist and vocalist was immediately evident. As we were both teachers in Edgerton at the time, and knew we had to get up early to get to work on time, we vowed to leave no later than 10pm. We had such a wonderful time that first night, that we stayed until closing! We soon became Thursday night “regulars,” and sang along with Eleanor for many years! Never once did we leave before closing! Over the years, and still today, Jill and I have often reminisced about those incredible “evenings with Eleanor,” how much fun we had, and how much she meant to us! Along with everyone who ever knew Eleanor, we will miss that beautiful smile, that welcoming feeling, and the never ending joy that her singing, and piano playing brought to us all.

I played with Ellie for about 10 years at Lake Square Presbyterian Church. She was always a joy to work with and a real pro. She will be missed.
