Joan Geraldine Schmidt

Peace and comfort to all of Joan’s family. She was such a unique and special person. We were friends for 50 years and shared many adventures. Those memories are held very dear. Sandy Golemb

When my parents, Robert & Barbara Schmidt were ill during their final days in Janesville-- Joan, in her eighties as well, would regularly appear, driving from Brooklyn to help out in any way she could. It was a spectacular display of the generosity of spirit that was always on display when you encountered my Aunt Joan. She was always one of those rare souls that never had to be asked to help out. She will be long remembered by all who ever knew her.
