I was fortunate enough to know Jan when both she and I worked at Oakwood. She would give us "report" from the night shift as we were starting the day shift. She was a truly amazing, caring lady. I always enjoyed the visits I got to have with her. She is truly one in a million. Rest easy my friend, yours was a life well lived.

I met your mother, father and Scott for the 1st time when they moved to Madison. My dad had Whalen Transfer and Storage for the move and I was helping the drivers during the summers. Scott was starting at Edgewood High School and we were going to be freshmen. Great memories.

I will always remember Janet on the dance floor (age 90) at Elise's bat mitzvah, outperforming anyone within her site. And, having known Luke for 30 years, it's absolutely clear that her legacy lives on through her gentle, kind, remarkable son. May her memory be a blessing.
