I didn't know Karen very well (while she was at BeeHive) but she giggled when I told her I shared her name. She probably would've giggled again had we both known I shared her birth day, November 2nd as well. She was a delight and will be missed.

I enjoyed working with Karen in Montgomery County Maryland. She was witty , had a great sense of humor and open for adventure. She spoke often of her daughters and grandchildren. I am glad her transition had her family close to her.
