I enjoyed seeing Fred, who lived down the hill from us in Estes Park. He was a good neighbor always willing to help. One night I was trying to move a refrigerator from the alcove to the kitchen (George was a a school trip). Somehow I pulled the ice maker tube out of the wall. Water was shooting everywhere. I quick called Fred and asked what to do. He got in his car, at 9:30 at night came to our cabin. Turned off the water and helped with the cleanup. That's a good neighbor. When they came up for dinner at our cabin, I had his own beautiful martini glass. Well deserved.

Fred and I worked together for many years. After work sometimes we would go to a local pub, talk about work and have more martinis than we should have. (We both loved Martinis.) Worked together on many tough, seemingly impossible projects which always worked out somehow. I always knew if he was assigned to a project, he would do whatever it took to make the project successful. Attended Lois and his wedding, sorry to read that she passed away too. RIP Fred, glad to have known you. Bob S.
