Obituary

Lodi - Therese M. Zeller, age 84, of Lodi, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Sauk Praire Health Care surrounded by loved ones. She was born on April 18, 1939, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Mitchel and Helen (Gburkowski) Kulikowski.


After graduating from Madona High School, she got married and had two children. Ten years later Therese earned her nursing degree from Triton College in River Grove, Ill. Two years later she moved her family to Lake Wisconsin and owned Rocky Shores Resort where she met the love of her life, Keith Zeller. Therese was employed as a nurse for 30 years and retired from Devine Savior Nursing Home.


Therese ran Endless Love Doll Shop in Lodi and did doll repairs. She enjoyed cooking for her family. She also enjoyed remodeling houses along with singing, playing the organ, and traveling. But most importantly Therese enjoyed spending time with her family.  


Therese is survived by her children, Charles (Gladys) Cushman and Christine Tucker; three grandchildren, Lashawna (Justin Sanville) Tucker, Tania Jones and Joseph (Lauren Cortina) Cushman; and four great-grandchildren, Savana Amble, Sam Amble, Shawn Jones and Stefania O’Neal. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers and one sister.


A memorial visitation will be held at Gunderson Lodi Funeral and Cremation Care, 157 S. Main St., Lodi, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023. Burial will be in Garden Bluff Cemetery.
