LODI - Joan F. Padley, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Divine Rehab and Nursing in Lodi. She was born on Sept. 14, 1938, in Portage, the daughter of the late Issac and Anna (Anderson) Olson.
On Nov. 10, 1956, she married Richard Padley in Wisconsin Dells. They moved to Lodi, raising their nine children.
Joan was an avid reader, nearly finishing a book a day and creating scrapbook memories, but loved most spending time with her family,
In addition to Dick, her husband of 66 years, survivors include her four daughters, Kim Schmitt, Karen (Donald) Lord, Kelly (Tim) McKenna and Kerry (Mike) Bollant; four sons, Richard (Tina), Ronald (Linda), Rory (Tim) and Robert (Dana); 22 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; her two brothers, Kenneth and Bernard (Sharon) Olson; and other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Padley; son-in-law, Jim Schmitt; and grandson, Christopher Lord.
