Obituary

MADISON - Lisa Heidt, age 61, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023. She was born on March 22, 1962, in Madison, the daughter of Jack and Doris (Varnum) Myers.

Lisa was employed in food service for various companies over the years. She loved to be around peopled and will be fondly remembered for her amazing cooking skills.

Lisa is survived by her significant other, Brian Butcher; daughter, Christina Heidt; brother, David (Lynn) Myers; and sister, Jill (Ez) Siegler. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Doris; and brother, Todd Myers.

A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Dane County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

Lisa lived at the same condo association as I did and we became friends very quickly. over the past years we would spend a lot of time at the pool just shooting the breeze. I will miss our conversations very much. RIP dear friend

I am siting here living in Michiana now thinking about all the times you tried to get me to move to Madison. I refused out of the fear of cold weather but after loosing my boyfriend last year I needed out of the south. You would have loved him. He was perfect for me. I miss you so much. There is so many things I wish I could tell you about the last three years. -B
