Obituary
Madison - Deborah Lee Ehle, age 73, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. She was born on March 7, 1950, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Thomas O'Connor and Shirley (Subera) O'Connor.
Deborah graduated from LaFollette High School and worked as an administrative assistant for the State of Wisconsin prior to retirement. She was an avid pet lover and enjoyed pet sitting. She really loved her dogs, especially Maize.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Kristal (Jeffrey) Derer; son , Jason (Cally) Ehle; grandchildren, Catharine Ehle, Rebekah Ehle, Theadora Derer, Gabriella Derer and Alexandra Derer; sisters, Maureen Patricia Craucutt (David), Cathy Marie (Michael) del Pilar and Rebecca Ann (Brock) Nealeigh; as well as other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens, 3054 County Highway BB, Cottage Grove, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, 2023.
Remembrances may be made in the form desired by friends. A few charities near to Debbie’s heart include: American Cancer Society, Dane County Humane Society, Easter Seals Wisconsin, National MS Society, and Shelter From the Storm Animal Rescue.
