Obituary
MONONA- Janice K. Lehnherr, age 91, of Monona, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. She was born on Jan. 16, 1932, in Indianapolis, Ind., the daughter of Virden and Ruth (Hauger) Kamm.
Janice graduated from Platteville High School in 1949 and the UW-Platteville in 1956. She enjoyed working as a teacher for the Monona Public Schools and retired in 1991.
Janice loved to travel all over the world. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and sewing. She especially loved spending time with her friends and family.
Janice is survived by her daughter, Susan McAllister; granddaughter, Emily McAllister; grandson, Joel McAllister; and sisters, Joyce Berger and Elizabeth (Phil) Campbell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virden and Ruth; and sister, Clara Thisius.
A memorial service will be held at BETHANY EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 301 Riverside Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, with Kellen Lewis presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
