The Great Eight left out a few things to tell about their mother. Their mother had seven children while expecting number 8. She had to make meals for 9 with no microwave. She did laundry that had to be ironed. She had to have Sunday church clothing because, back then, no kid could wear sneakers, torn jeans and a t-shirt to Mass. For many years, she made beds and breakfasts for northern Wisconsin teenagers who were at the state tournament in Madison. She also allowed her husband to inaugurate the Orton Park Festival, which will be held later this summer. Pup always had the extension cords.
Delores has earned her warm place in heaven, right next to Fred. Remarkable people.

The Fuller's were our Orton Park neighbors for the years as our children were growing up. Delores sitting on her porch swing as I tried getting my twin daughters to actually walk with me rather than chasing them up and down the block always gave Delores a good chuckle. I’d ask her for advice quite often. She always came through with a quip to make me laugh right along with her. On occasion she’d say, ”You got yourself into that mess and you need to figure it out!” The huge pine tree on Spaight St. was lit up at Christmas thanks to Fred when the Muehlenberg's were little, they a thought it was their own special Christmas tree. Fred helped my son when his bike chain broke which happened so often Fred eventually showed him how to fix it himself. We are so lucky to have had Fred and Delores as our special neighborhood grandma and grandpa. Thank you for sharing them with us.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Delores Fuller during this difficult time. Sorry I am unable to attend the services. Being cousins we shared many gatherings on the Linden side together. Jo-Ann Keleny Esser, Monroe, Wi
