My deepest empathy to Joan's family. Having the opportunity to know Joan was a true gift & honor. We worked together, and stayed in touch with time in between, but, we never skipped a beat when we saw each other. She loved her family so much, and proud of them all. I even had babysat for their son Allen who had such a smile & laugh and enjoyed our time together. I have so many cherished memories that I will treasure. always. Joan had a beautiful soul, and the biggest loving heart, a smile that lit up a room and a sweet contagious laugh. Robert and the family will carry on her amazing legacy. I find comfort in having talks with Robert as Joan was in the hospital. Sending you all many prayers, love and hugs.
