Stoughton - Gloria J. Gryska, age 86, of Stoughton, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023, at Skaalen Nursing and Rehab. She was born on Nov. 11, 1936 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Maximillian and Helen (Picturna) Marshall.
Gloria received her undergrad and graduate degree from University of Illinois. She was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority for over 65 years. She married Eugene Gryska on May 3, 1958, in Chicago, Ill., and they recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Prior to retirement, Gloria enjoyed a long career working for the Chicago Public School System as an elementary school teacher. In her free time, she enjoyed boating, reading, her pets and spending time with her family.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Eugene; son, Mark (Denise) Gryska; grandchildren, Evan (Kati) Gryska and Marissa (fiance', Jose Zavala) Gryska; great-grandchild, Alistair Gryska, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
