Obituary
MADISON - Fawn Joy Roper, age 60, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was born on Oct. 11, 1962, in Fort Atkinson, Wis., the daughter of Wallace Flach and Ina (Richards) Flach.
Fawn was formerly employed with Swiss Colony for several years. She enjoyed watching football, especially the Packers, and loved her cat, Mr. Beans. She was very devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children and grandson. Fawn was always there for them with a gentle hand and kind heart. She will especially be remembered for her lasagna and sugar cookies.
Fawn is survived by her son, Weston (Brooke Zimmerman) Roper; two daughters, Jennifer Roper and Amber (David Hetzel) Roper; grandson, Landon Roper; five brothers, Nathan (Barbara) Flach, Dwight (Cindy) Flach, Wallace Flach, Jr., Scott Flach and Dale (Linda) Flach; and is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Calveran Flach.
A funeral Service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
