i believe i was about 5 when Randi and I were ring bearers for Ralph and Anita's wedding in 1954. I was so worried the ring would fall off the pillow as I walked up the aisle at the church. My fondest memories of Anita were all the times she shared treats she brought when I walked over almost every day to visit Randi and others. Randi and I pretended to be teachers and Russell, Anita's son was the student. Ironically I became a teacher for the rest of my life.

Thoughts and prayers are with all Anita’s family. I want to thank Anita for all the memories her and her family created for me, many of them around horses. Her yard always had beautiful flowers, I loved the bridal wreath hedge that bloomed every spring along the road. I also will always remember the Christmas tree she kept up all year. I thought it was cool, Christmas the best holiday of the year, besides Easter. Hugs to all!! Jane Straub Evans
