My very heart felt memory will always be of the love and support John gave me when he spent the day with me at St. Luke's Hospital. He came to be there for me the day I called about Mike having his fatal heart attack. John helped me so much and I was never so happy for him to be there. John has always been there for family and friends. Love you, Mary

Oh dad - that was the most horrific week of my life. We are very very sad and honestly I don’t think we are handling very well. A lifetime of memories keeps flashing before my eyes. I’m dreaming non stop of those last few hours/days. I’m trying to be positive and grateful but it’s hard. I know you would want us to focus on the good and to keep going . We are very proud and grateful to have you as our dad and I am sure o will be grieving forever. We love and miss you Nicole Matoushek

John was a supportive force in my life & recovery. He was a true friend for 38+ years. He was a man of few words and had deep insight into this complex life. John can now dance with the angels and be free & healthy in his everlasting life. Blessings to his family in the loss of your father, grandfather & friend. My heart feels his loss.
