Obituary

MADISON - Diana Lyn Wolfe, age 64, of Madison, passed away peacefully with grace and courage, surrounded by her loved ones, on Monday, April 24, 2023. She was born on Dec. 4, 1958, in Madison, the daughter of John W. and Lois J. (Bartell) Stevenson.


Diana graduated from James Madison Memorial High School, Class of 1977. She worked as a care giver for Options for several years providing care for adults with disabilities.


Diana was a devoted and loving mother and sister. She was very generous, fun-loving, and had a unique spirit. She was a passionate lover of animals and nature. Diana loved gardening and truly had a green thumb. She was artistic and loved to find treasures in nature and create art to make gifts out of them for others.


Diana is survived by her son, Justin Wolfe; daughter, Taylor Wolfe; siblings, Sandra Anderson, William Stevenson, Mary Stanek, Donna (Arvo) Mather and Scott (April) Stevenson; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Jon "J.B." Wolfe; sister-in-law, Jan Stevenson; and brother-in-law, Lyle Stanek.


A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I worked with Diana way back in the early 90's, and I never forgot her and how much fun we had working together! She was a work buddy who helped get you through the day, on top of her being great at her job! Without a doubt, the world will be a little less fun without her in it.
