Robin and Mitch, my sincere condolences. Algonquin Street was a very special place for us and your mom was an integral part of that experience. I remember her wonderful cakes and steady presence in our childhood lives there. I still think about my conversations with you, Robin, through our bedroom windows on those summer nights after we'd been called home, or the backyard carnivals and shows we'd invent. I'm always a little sorry for people who grew up without a "gully" or active railroad tracks. :). Your mom was an important part of the safety, care, and growth we experienced there.
