Eugene Earl Sheets

Gene was with the vets firing squad and whenever they came to the VFW, he would "collect" hugs. I was one to get a hug! Gene was one of the friendliest people to have lived. RIP, my friend.

On behalf of the Badger Honor Flight Board and all our volunteers, we extend our deepest condolences to you all, the family of Eugene Earl Sheets. We are forever grateful and thankful for Eugene's service to our great country. What an honor it was for us to take him on his well-deserved trip of a lifetime. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Uncle Gene was one of my favorite people! He made you feel good, he made you laugh, he treated everyone like they were special. He always had a smile too. I loved it when the Sheets came to our Grandparents house! ❤️ I would have visited but I didn't know how to get in touch.

I wanted to say how much our family loved our Uncle Gene. He was such a sweet, good man. I just found out about his passing. Even though i haven't seen him in a long time he's still been in my memories and heart.

Uncle Gene was a wonderful man! I still have many vivid memories of the times when we would all get together at our Grandparents home too. It was a time of laughter and joy! Our sincere condolences to all of you! May our Lord in Heaven give you comfort and peace during this time! God Bless you all!
