ZUMBROTA, Minn. /MCFARLAND - Christopher “Kit” Michael Damson, age 47, of Zumbrota, Minn., formerly of McFarland, Wis., passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Kit was born on Aug. 3, 1975, to Duke and Jacki Damson of McFarland.

He graduated from McFarland High School and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in Exercise Physiology.  

Kit is survived by his parents, Duke and Jacki Damson; sister, Courtney (Shane) Snorek; sons, Dane and Hans Damson; former wife, Bretta (Dan) Nietz; nephew, Henry Snorek; and special friend, Kasara Little and her daughter, Aurora.

Services were held in Minnesota.

I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to Kit's family at this very sad time. I was a close friend of Kit before he moved to Minnesota butwe lost touch over the years, sad to say. We were power lifting buddies and he was a great lifting partner. We motivated each other to do our very best. One workout we had was a two hour squat and dead lift workout. When finished, we figured that wasn’t enough, so we loaded up the deadlift bar with 315 pounds and did alternating single lifts for an hour straight. That was awesome! Kit was a good friend, who had mental and physical toughness and a wonderful demeanor. He was supportive and kind. One more rep buddy, till we meet again, Frank Forman
