Obituary
SUN PRAIRIE - Mary T. Quade, age 94, of Sun Prairie, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. She was born on Sept. 8, 1928, in De Pere, Wis. the daughter of Raymond and Marie (Cornelissen) Trinkner.
Mary graduated from East De Pere High School. On Aug. 25, 1951, she was united in marriage to Charles Quade who preceded her in death on March 23, 2009. Mary enjoyed her decades of dedicated work at Woodside Nursing Home in Green Bay. She retired at age 80 in 2009.
As a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church, Mary was a strong Catholic and held her faith close to her. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, knitting and doing jigsaw puzzles. She will be remembered for her love of family and her travel adventure stories with her sister, Ellie.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Jeff (Kimberly) Quade of Texas and Scott (Roxanne) Quade of Illinois; sister, Ellie Zirbel; brother, Ken (Marlin); sister-in-law, Dottie; four grandchildren, Jeremy (Allison) Quade, Stephanie (Eric) Jensen, and Will and Connor Quade; five great-grandchildren, Jake, Noah, Madison, Olivia and Logan; and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Gordon and Dick; sister, Dorothy Mae; and sister-in-law, Bernice.
A memorial service will be held at MOUNT OLIVET CEMETERY, 836 Mount Olivet Drive, De Pere, at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
