Obituary

LODI - Barbara Shirley Brager, age 98, of Lodi, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Our House Senior Living in Lodi. She was born on May 3, 1927, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Charles Booses and Lillian (Scott) Bartholemew.


In 1944, Barbara graduated from Lodi High School. She worked for Oscar Mayer for 45 years, retiring in 1990.


Barbara shared her love of adventure with her daughters, taking them on many camping trips throughout the United States. She traveled extensively, enjoyed numerous cruises, was an avid bowler, and was a dedicated Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan and went to many of the team’s games. Known for her warmth and hospitality, she loved hosting gatherings and entertaining others.


Barbara is survived by her daughters, Sherry Nelson, Cindy Brager and Billie Jo Landgraf; grandchildren, Kim (Joe Prestigiacomo) Nelson, Kristin (Scott) Morey, Gabe (Amanda) Nelson, and Bryan (Raelyn) Landgraf; and great-grandchildren, Colin and Cade Clark, Isabelle Morey, Sage and Sam Nelson, and Landon Landgraf. She was preceded in death by her parents, her longtime partner, Glenn Henry; a grandson, Jason Landgraf; sons-in-law, James Nelson and Richard Landgraf; and many siblings.


Barbara and Glenn will be united in the same crypt for eternity.


A graveside service will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
