Obituary

BROOKLYN - Ryan Kevin George, age 37, of Brooklyn, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at UW Hospital and Clinics. He was born on Jan. 20, 1986, in Stoughton, the son of Kevin and Jackie (Vacha) George.


Ryan graduated from Oregon High School in 2004 and was blessed with many friends. He furthered his education at Madison College where he received his associate degree in welding and joined the team at Maysteel Industries.


Ryan had a contagious laugh. He enjoyed reading and playing computer games with his friends online. He loved the holidays, especially Christmas.


Ryan is survived by his parents, Kevin and Jackie; sister, Natasha (Scott) Jensen; brother, Cory George; nephew, Colton Jensen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lonnie and Norma Jean George and Francis and Virginia Vacha.


A Celebration of Life will be held at the BROOKLYN FIRE DEPARTMENT, 401 W. Main St., Brooklyn, from 12:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
