Joen had surgery today for a torn retina so we can’t make it for the funeral or visitation. But I want you to know that the entire Wopat family meant a lot to us through the years. Your dad was on the school board and I was on the teachers negotiations team. Each side treated the other side with respect and when negotiations were done, we were still friends. Your dad had a lot to do with that! I was also amazed at how diverse but successful your family was in the different paths you all chose in life in spite of what happened with your first mom. Joen and I were at a concert at the Arlington Prairie church this past summer and it was like John was singing a solo! His voice came through loud and clear even though everyone was singing a hymn! You have our deepest sympathy. Al and Joen Bilse

John and Judy were very good friends for years. They are reunited and walking on the streets of gold! Our sincere condolences to the family.
