Obituary
MADISON - Kenneth F. “Ken” White, age 70, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on Dec. 2, 1952, in Richland Center, the son of Everett and Ruby (Fry) White.
Ken graduated from Richland Center High School in 1970. He married his high school sweetheart, Rebecca Ferguson, on Dec. 30, 1972. Ken worked as a journeyman for Perry-Judd's for over 20 years while also serving as a volunteer EMT for Marshall Fire and Rescue. Following Perry-Judd's, he worked as a shuttle driver for the Sheraton Hotel where he loved meeting and talking with new people.
Family was Ken’s priority and he loved spending time with them. He loved to go fishing with the grandkids and attending all their activities. Ken was an avid hunter and was a loyal Badger and Packer football fan. He will be remembered for his smile and taking time to ask others how they were doing.
Ken is survived by his wife, Becky; daughters, Tara (Jeffrei) Johnson and Jacki (David) Witkowski; and grandchildren, Colemen, Alexcia, and Brock Johnson. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends; his beloved dog, Thelma and granddogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Ruby.
A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
